The Emperor's New Clothes: A Play for Kids
It's showtime! Get your friends together and have a blast performing this lighthearted play written especially for elementary aged kids. This book includes the script, prop and costume suggestions, three simple songs, and even some warm up exercises. For approximately 10 - 25 actors.
The village of Tang is going to have a parade and the Emperor wants to have a special outfit made for him to wear. He hires two tailors, but the tailors turn out to be swindlers and make him a invisible outfit. The tailors say that only very smart people can see the outfit. So everyone pretends to see the outfit, except for one child who is brave enough to tell the truth.
Fiction/Drama/Musical/Humor Ages 7+
"I absolutely love the Showbiz Series of plays, they are really good adaptions of well known stories, set out in a great format, that allows for the group performing them to either personalise them or stick exactly with what's in the book."
