The Six of Crows is such a great read in so many ways I don't know where to begin. Sure it's a great adventure. Sure it is packed with action. Sure it's heroes are a bunch of misfit kids that accomplish amazing things. But The Six of Crows goes beyond all that.
Bardugo writes wonderfully. No hinky descriptions like "his eyes were blue". The world building is so good, that you can taste what it is like to live in Ketterdam. And Bardugo hashes out everything about her characters. I feel like I know all of them better than I know my own siblings!
