It's showtime! Get your friends together and have a blast performing this lighthearted play written especially for elementary aged kids. This book includes the script, prop and costume suggestions, three simple songs, and even some warm up exercises. For approximately 10 - 25 actors.
Three travelers come to the village of Butterworthy. They are hungry, but none of the villagers will share their food. So the travelers put a stone in a pot of water to make “stone soup”. The villagers are very curious about this kind of soup. The travelers trick the villagers by asking each one to bring an ingredient to add to the pot to make the soup taste even better. The result is a delicious pot of soup for everyone to share!
